Olympic gold medalist John Peers has associated with Olivia Gadecki to ensure the totally Australian final of the Melbourne Park's mixed doubles, demolishing Kimberly Birrell and John-Patrick Smith.
The colleagues and Gadecki roared home against their companions Commodines to ensure a 6-3 4-6 10-6 victory in a tiebreaker at Rod Laver Arena on Friday.
