The 35-year-old, who recently lost in the second round of Australian Open qualifying to Eva Lys, shared the news with her followers in a cheerful clip featuring her ex-partner.
In the video, Rodionova sat next to Vickery, who was holding a half-eaten banana, and said, “We're getting a divorce.” We've been separated for about a year. Friends and family know this, but we just wanted to inform the community at large about this situation. Thank you.'
Vickery stepped in and said, “We're fine.” We get along well and wish each other the best. Thanks for the support.'
The moment took a funny turn when Rodionova extended her hand to shake, only for Vickery to pass her the banana. The couple, who had been together for nine years, burst out laughing when the video ended.
