Elon MuskAsk the people in Germany to leave their country's mistakes behind and to accept their culture with open arms … and many make further connections to the Third Reich on the Internet.
On Saturday, the technology entrepreneur held a surprise speech to the alternative for Germany – also known as (AfD), a right -wing extremist political party … and he spoke a lot about preserving German culture and being proud of it.
Elon Musk says at an AfD rally in Germany: “I think the focus is (in Germany) too much on the guilt of the past, and we have to go beyond. Children shouldn't feel guilty for their parents' sins – not even their great -grandparents. ” pic.twitter.com/xtfmfayrip

Listen to the whole speech … but his basic point is that Germans should not have a guilty conscience because they are proud of their ethnicity, their culture and the common value system in their country.
Elon goes one step further and says everyone in the room that in his opinion, people in Germany because of the atrocities who have committed their ancestors are far too guilty – and that they have to let all of these feelings of guilt.
While Elon does not refer to a certain event, people on the Internet combine the connections … and admit that it appears to be as if the mogul indirectly refers to the Holocaust.

Em adds that Germans have to preserve German culture instead of allowing the country to be overrun by multiculturalism … Because people do not want to go to a place that – through globalization – feels different.
Remarkable … The AfD is against immigration – especially against Muslim immigrants who come to Germany – and so an Elon who rejected multiculturalism caused a lot of applause in the audience.
It comes at the end of a week in which Elon has already been accused of sympathizing with Nazis … after a video in which Musk touched his heart and then stretched out his arm The view of the crowd in the inauguration reminded of a greeting from the Nazis.
Musk said he didn't mean it … and the topic was essentially split along the party lines – with the Republicans defended the new head of the Ministry of Government Efficiency and the Democrats criticized him for it.
Elon's statements in Germany will not stop the Nazi allegations … regardless of the intentions of the technology mogul.
