The president of Lecce, Saverio Sticchi Damiani, has made it clear that he is determined to challenge Manchester United's plan to sign Patrick Dorgu during the current transfer window.
United is anxious to improve his wing options, with the manager Ruben Amorim committed to doing his training 3-4-3 favored in Old Trafford.
Dorgu, 20 years old, recently arose as the main objective of United, but so far the Premier League team has not been able to agree on an agreement with Lecce.
Lecce rejected an initial offer of £ 16.8 million plus £ 4.2 million in accessories before United increased its offer to £ 25.2 million during more informal discussions. Mail Sport understands that Lecce wants £ 33 million for recoil.

If United cannot break Lecce's resistance and sign Dorgu, then Benfica Álvaro Carreras star could be an alternative option.
