Washington – Questions about the plans of the former Vice President Kamala Harris have strayed from their president in 2024 – especially whether the former senator and attorney in California would run for the governor next year. Now part of the picture has been filled with the announcement of her husband's new job.
The former second gentleman Doug Emhoff joins the law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher and plans to share his time between Los Angeles and New York, the company announced on Monday.

The former lawyer for entertainment, media and intellectual property in Los Angeles, 60, will be a partner in the law firm and will advise companies, companies and people in the middle of crisis or with the shift of the legal basis.
“Doug's leadership and his service as a trustworthy consultant for many global managing directors in a wide range of industries as well as his extensive right -wing expertise and his business sense make him an enormous capital,” said Thomas Cerabino's chairman in the explanation. “We are enthusiastic about adding Doug to the arbitrary partnership during this time of growth of the transformation companies.”
The company, founded in 1888, has 1,200 employees in 15 offices in six countries. The focus of the approximately 100 lawyers in his office in Los Angeles includes the entertainment and media industry as well as the estate planning for wealthy Hollywood figures, athletes and management managers.
The announcement that Emhoff will spend part of his time in New York is excited due to the rumors that Harris and her husband had moved there.
Harris, also 60, met Emhoff on a blind date. The couple married 2014.
