Neymar appears on the edge of ensuring a romantic return to his Santos Childhood Club in Brazil after Al-Hilal finished his contract.
The Saudi Pro League team confirmed the news on Monday night in a brief statement.
ESPN had already reported that Neymar and Santos have held conversations about writing a six -month contract, with a one -year extension clause, to seal a return to the club where he made his debut at age 17 in 2009.
With the aim of completing the agreement, Neymar will travel to Brazil this week, which means he could play for Santos as soon as February 5.
