A Philadelphia Eagles fan who immersed himself with a post while celebrating the team's Super Bowl on Sunday night died from his wounds.
The student of the University of Temple, Tyler Sabathy, 18, was put on a vital support after suffering a brain injury due to the fall of horror in the 15th and market streets in the central city of Philadelphia.
He was urgently taken to the Jefferson hospital with 'critical injuries' before he died on Tuesday, January 28, according to NBC 10 Philadelphia.
Temple University announced Tuesday night that Sabathy, a first -year student of Toronto, Canada, died after the tragic incident.
The teenager was a student at the Faculty of Public Health of Temple, where he was specializing in the exercise and science of sport. He was also an aspiring gymnast who won more than 120 medals in several regional and international competitions.

The tragic fall of Sabathy arrived on a chaotic night in Philadelphia, where Mayhem exploded after the Eagles defeated Washington's commanders in the Sunday NFC championship game.
A man was stabbed out of the Lincoln Financial Field Stadium of the Eagles, while hundreds of fans faced with the riot police after going out to the streets to celebrate the whole night.
Several people also were injured when a car crashed into a large crowd celebrating the victory over the commanders, which established a confrontation of the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans.
Sabathy's fall occurred after the mayor of Philadelphia, Cherelle Parker, had begged fans who do not climb posts even though she became tradition after great victories.
“You will not want to be in a moment of celebration, you know, they have a tragedy,” Parker warned before urging supporters: “Please do not climb the Poles.”
The images on social networks also showed that another fan fell from a light post after trying to grab a flag that had shattered, although it seemed unharmed.
New Orleans police spokesman Barry Fletcher had also issued a warning about climbing street poles in the French neighborhood, and although he did not mention Eagles supporters by name, he was directing his response to a newspaper in Philadelphia.
“With respect to climbing street light posts, that is not only illegal (raid) but is insecure since many of the street posts in the French neighborhood are quite old,” Fletcher said in an email to the Philadelphia inquiring. 'Climbing them runs the risk of knocking down the light post'.
