During his youth, Doolittle would help his grandfather work around his backyard, raising and transporting heavy items that helped him develop muscle and strength from an early age.

Doolittle said he no longer lifts weights in the gym, since he would alter his physique
“I wouldn't even look like a basketball player,” said the American basketball star to The Western Australian podcast When asked what would happen if he started lifting weights again.
But the American admitted that he no longer lifts weights and, on the other hand, is in a new training program in which he puts a greater emphasis on his diet and physical state, to tune in to the rigors of the NBL.
“I don't get up anymore,” he added. 'I have been able to coordinate with our strength program where they have me in a routine that is beneficial for me and what my body needs.
'While I check those boxes, then I'm fine.
'I have been more or less this size since I was in high school. Just weight a little more. But that is just because I am no longer 18 years old. For the most part, this is what I have been.
'I simply know that every time I lift my body, I will only go with him. I have found something that works for me and has been good.
'I don't know why I'm so strong. I am simply.
The basketball star said it does not know why it is so strong, and added that it now pays more emphasis on its diet and physical conditioning plans.
Doolittle joined Perth in 2023 and would become a key presence on the court for the Wildcats, making 21 appearances last season, accumulating a 49 field goal percentage.
He has returned to Star Again for the Wildcats in 2025 and has been impressive again.
But part of his great athletics is reduced to his training and nutrition plans, and Doolittle admits that eating well has become a large part of how it operates.
“I started to eat better,” he said.
I have always eaten quite healthy. But sometimes I go home and get some fast food here and there. This year I have greatly reduced it. I am drinking more water.
