Ang Postecoglou paid tribute to the Tottenham Academy after three products for the youth team won the first goals for the club in a 3-0 victory against Elfsborg that sealed its progress in the last 16 of the Europa League.
The Spurs knew that a point would probably secure a first level position and help them avoid the play-off phase next month, but Postecoglou observed two unlikely figures out of the bank and win three precious points.
Dane Scarlett, 20, only returned to the club earlier this month of a mixed loan spell in Oxford, but scored four minutes after his introduction in the second half with a good header for his first goal from Tottenham in his 18th appearance.
Damola Ajayi, a regular for children under 21, followed him with an excellent second six minutes of time before Mikey Moore obtained a brilliant third in the detention time to ensure fourth place in the phase of the league for men for men of postecoglou.
However, it was not a completely positive night for the Spurs, since while Micky Van de Van's return passed without a note, Central Radu Dragusin was forced.
But postecoglou roasted a memorable occasion for the youth configuration of the club, saying: 'It was “done in Tottenham” tonight. It is brilliant for the club and I am sure that there are coaches of the academy and players who will not sleep because they are quite excited.

'We have a great week and we have to try to handle the burden of our players and try to protect them.
'We knew we would have to trust some young players tonight and even this campaign to be honest. I thought they got very good.
'The whole group played well, but we were going to need some young children to have an impact and not just the three scorers.
'We had a couple of 18 -year -old young people there too who continue to take us. So it is a great night for the club and something that the entire academy should be proud.
The Spurs were not 11 players for this clash and Dragusin became the last concern after the knee was hurt when he landed awkwardly in the 61st minute.
Dragusin had reached part time for Van de Ven, who exceeded 45 minutes in his first appearance since an injury to the hamstrings on December 8, but while the Dutch defender will be prepared for more actions on Sunday in Brentford, Postecoglou could be another Player below.
“Unfortunately, Radu was hurt now,” said Posttecoglou.
'I have no more information, but I didn't look good since he came out, so we'll have wait and we'll see, but it's disappointing.

Posttecoglou admitted that I was happy to avoid the two-legged play-off round next month
“Micky beat it well, it was always going to be 45 and he felt good.”
The fourth place in the League phase at least means that Tottenham can resume his Europa League campaign in March.
One of the true society, Galatasaray, Az Alkmaar or FC Midtjylland will be the last 16 opponents of the Spurs, but Postecoglou was pleased to avoid the play-off round and the perspective of two additional games next month.
He added: 'We are up to the 16 round and we have missed the play-off game, which gives us a couple more weeks to recover the players.
“Hopefully, by the time the knockout rounds arrive, we will have some more bodies in form to help the group and it is an exciting challenge for us.”
