John ErwinThe voice of several well-known TV characters from the 1960s until the 80s … including HE-Man and Morris The Cat … has died.
Erwin's representative says TMZ John to have died in his house in California on December 20, 2024 for natural reasons … but the information is now coming out.
John came from Cambridge, Massachusetts, and spent most of his career in language work for animated roles. He expressed the character Reggie Mantle on “The Archie Show” in the late 60s.
He appeared in several episodes of the Clint Eastwood TV show “Rawhide”. But he is probably best recognized as the voice of the character He-Man and Prince Adam as well as the villain Beast in the 1980s Cartoon “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”. He also has advertising work and articulated the voice of Morris The Cat for 9 Lives Cat Food commercials.
In 2005 he expressed a appearance on the animated show “Family Guy”.
