Don lemon Has a strong attitude too Wendy Williams'Guardianship – based on his latest convoy with her – and it completely agrees with the recent decision of a judge about her immediate future.
We spoke to Don Friday in Lax, where he told us that he believes that the guardianship is “too strict” and “it should be able to see her family”.
Just a few hours after we had spoken to him, TMZ broke the story – the judge in the guardianship gave Wendy Permission to visit her father in Südflorida to celebrate his 94th birthday.

It is just a step in Wendy's struggle to be permanently released from a facility for assisted living in NYC. TMZ asked Wendy about this fight for our new Tubi documentary “Saving Wendy” – and we ask serious questions about why she is still in a guardianship that gives her practically no freedom.
She calls her studio apartment in the facility a “luxury prison” in which she rarely can breathe fresh air, has no internet access and practically no visitors.

At Wendy, dementia was diagnosed by frontal lobes and is accompanied by the private security authorized by the court for her trip to visit her father only 2 days before she has to fly back to NYC.
