Ajax chief coach Francesco Farioli has made it very clear that Jordan Henderson will not leave the club during the current transfer window.
The former Liverpool captain has only been at the Amsterdam Club since January last year when he finished his disappointing six-month spell in Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.
Henderson had been anxious to advance this month again after Monaco made an offer for the 34 -year -old man. That offer was rejected before Henderson tried to force a movement threatening to refuse to play for Ajax again.
Despite this supposed Ultimatum, Henderson played 77 minutes for Ajax on Thursday in a 2-1 victory over Galatasaray in the Europa League.
He did not captain the team against Galatasaray, but he was using the bracelet again on Sunday when Ajax faced Feyenoord in the Eredivisie.
Speaking to journalists before the start of Sunday, the chief of Ajax, Farioli, said: 'Jordan Henderson is definitely staying, he is our captain. The story is closed, 100 percent.

Henderson was recently the object of a transfer offer from the Ligue 1 French Club as Monaco
But the offer was rejected and the chief of Ajax, Francesco Farioli, said Sunday: “The story is closed”
On the eve of Sunday's game, a group of Ajax fans showed his support for Henderson in an open training session.
Henderson had received strong fires from critics in the Dutch media and also many fans.
The former Ajax Wesley Sneijder player had told him that “he was a man and stood up” to address recent rumors.
But a group of Ajax fans then eliminated Henderson's name during Saturday's training session.
Sunday's game against Feyenoord saw Henderson make his 45th appearance for Ajax. You still have to score your first goal for the club.
