Mackay Cutters, Ethan Tomas Cocco, has been accused of sexual violation and aggression.
The Queensland Rugby League player appeared in the Mackay magistrates, on Monday, where his positions were read.
The 21 -year -old has also previously represented Queensland at level of age and has played for chronulla sharks.
He was accused of raping a woman in a direction in South Mackay on two separate dates in January.
He has also been accused of indecently assaulting women on one of those occasions.
The daily mercury Reports he had signed for the Mackay Cutters in November, but later resigned due to 'personal reasons' after it is understood that the alleged crimes were carried out.

The Queensland Rugby League Club had announced that the team had joined on November 21, after having spent several years playing for the Chronulla Cup team.
He signed a two -year contract with sharks in 2021 and initially joined the team's junior team.
The Mackay Cutters CEO, Dave Roberts, said the club had not been aware of the charges against cocco.
“The player approached the club on January 21, 2025, looking for an immediate release due to personal reasons,” Roberts said.
“The club agreed to the player's request and offered immediate well -being support.”
The case of Cocco will return to the courts later in April with the Rugby League player currently on bail.
