The MotoGP world champion, Jorge Martin, was taken to the hospital after he was involved in two accidents on the opening day of the preseason tests.
Martin, 27, is the World Defender champion after claiming the title with Pramac Ducati last year, and since then he moved to Aprilia before the new season.
But his beginning of life in his new team had a horrible start while taking the track to try in Malaysia on Wednesday.
The Spanish crashed at the beginning of the session, but it was unharmed and could continue.
However, after 13 test laps, Martin lost control of his bicycle while taking a corner and flewing on the handlebar.
He arrived back to Earth with an explosion as he broke his face in the asphalt, and there was an immediate concern for his well -being.

The red flag was quickly presented to stop the practice session to allow Martin to receive treatment, and was then taken to the hospital to obtain more controls.
Martin was not the only pilot who crashed on Wednesday when the star of the track Raúl Fernández also fell from his bicycle and suffered fractures of hands and feet, discarding it from the remaining two days of tests.
The MotoGP season will be launched in just over three weeks, with the first race in Thailand for March 2.
Martin will hope to recover completely for that race, but first he will need to obtain the clarified of the doctors after a first day of nightmare.
