MotoGP champion Jorge Martín A broken hand and a foot suffered in a terrible crash on Wednesday. But take a look at the video of the accident, it certainly seems that he was not much worse.
The wreck occurred in Sepang, Malaysia – when Martín carried out a few pre -season tests after moving from Pramac Racing to Aprilia in the off -season.
The video from the track shows that Martín took a close turn, but could not complete it – and was started several foot from his bike.
The 27-year-old plunged into the nearby asphalt at a high speed.
Somehow he came away from the scene with just one fracture on his right hand and fractures in his left foot.
“He underwent a CT scan and an MRI, both of whom were negative for injuries,” said MotoGP on Wednesday. “He will stay in the hospital overnight and tomorrow he will fly back to Europe to be operated on both his right and on the left.”
Martín revealed on his Instagram page that he is in a good mood despite the new symptoms … and shows that he has something to eat in his hospital bed.
“Not the best start of the 2025 season!” He wrote in a separate contribution. “But Martinator is coming back stronger!”
Martín – who won the MotoGP championship last year – will only have a few weeks to heal if he wants to be ready for the first Grand Prix from 2005 … because the race on February 28th is supposed to drop in Thailand.
