Arsenal received a great blow during the first half of his second semifinal stage of the Carabao Cup after Gabriel Martinelli was forced to go out with an injury.

Martinelli fell in the 37th minute in St James' Park, with the striker grabbing his right ischiotibial.

Martinelli was seen limbing the field, with the Brazilian now appearing ready for a spell on the margin.

The loss of Martinelli will be another blow to Arteta, in the midst of a series of injuries in attack positions.

Arsenal is already Sin Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesús, and the latter was discarded for the season with a LCA injury.
