The Guardian says that they only pursue the case for Wendy's advantage … but now that Wendy calls up the guardianship, they shift.
According to the letter, Morrissey wants to be transparent about Wendy's condition and it is therefore of the opinion that “a new medical evaluation (Wendy) would go through a new medical evaluation that includes the comprehensive neurological and psychological tests of a specialist in this area.”

While this is in the works, Morrissey wants the judge to put the A&E lawsuit on hold until the results of the new rating.
While Morrissey says that she is open to the New Tests for Wendy, it doesn't sound like she is thinking that it will change something. The letter ends … “The guardian has no interest in pursuing legal disputes in the extremely unlikely case that the new medical examination determines that (Wendy) now has the mental ability to steer the matter . “
The letter also illustrates … Wendy's original diagnosis was made by doctors in the Weill Cornell Medical Center, and it was Justice Sokoloff, who ruled Wendy “incapable”.
