Ang Postecoglou has responded to the manager of Leyton Orient Richie Wellens after he made a mockery towards Tottenham's head last Saturday.
Orient fell to a 1-0 defeat by stockport and when asked during an interview after the game if the injuries had contributed to the loss, Wellens said: “I am not Ange Postecoglou, it continues to use it as an excuse.”
Since then, Wellens apologized for his comment, admitting that he is “deeply ashamed” by him and that it was a “stupid comment.”
While the Spurs prepare to face Aston Villa in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday, their absence list could sit in the 11 PRIOR LEAGUE players.
When asked if Wellens had been in contact to apologize personally, Postecoglou was conservative with his words and involved that the orient chief has had his minutes of fame.
“He had his five minutes, that's good enough for me,” he said.

Then postecoglou was asked if fans and experts can be starting to get tired of the narration that Tottenham is incapacitated by their injuries.
The Spurs have suffered a nightmare campaign in the Premier League, falling to the 14th at the table after 13 losses of 24 games.
Postecoglou has been forced to cut and change its side frequently during the season so far, beaten with injuries to several key defenders, including Micky Van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie.
“I don't know what a narrative is like when you're just saying facts,” said the Australian.
'If people do not see a situation in which you miss something significant, there is nothing I can say to that. If they say: “Well, that shouldn't make a difference,” I don't know how to answer that.
'I understand that people's senses go out or people get bored, everyone wants a little drama. But that is not drama, that is just to indicate facts.
'We have been losing some really key players for a long time and we had to deal with that. Whether people see it as significant or not … if people think I'm trying to create a story of nothing, I don't know what to say about that. '
Postecoglou added: “As for other managers, he (Wellens) had his five minutes, so let's move on.”
Orient and spurs have a close relationship, with Harry Kane previously on loan there
The Spurs, who have a close relationship with Orient, sent to the stars of the academy Jamie Donley and Josh Keeley to the ONE League Club for a loan of the entire season at the beginning of the campaign.
The former Tottenham captain, Harry Kane, also completed a loan spell there at the beginning of his career, while Spurs women regularly play their games at home in Orient's Brisbane Road.
Orient has defeated Spurs only twice in the history of his club, once in 1909 and more recently in 1985.
The Spurs have won 10, attracted three and lost only two games on the eastern side of London during the 116 years they have faced.
