Fox reveals the 2025 Super Bowl was the most watched when the chiefs collapsed against the Eagles

Once again, the Super Bowl has destroyed the record of the most watched television event in American history.

The Super Bowl Lix delivered an average audience of 126 million people, according to Fox projections that include Nielsen data.

That average breaks the old record that was only established last year with the CBS transmission of the Super Bowl LVIII.

In addition, Fox reported maximum audience in the second quarter of 135.7 million viewers in Fox, Fox Deportes, Tubi, Telemundo and NFL Digital.

Transmission grades have not yet fallen. The best qualified Super Bowl transmission was in 1982 for the Super Bowl XVI, when the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals.

Among the list of the most viewed transmissions in the history of American television, it is widely believed that Apollo 11 Moon Landing is the most watched with estimates saying that between 125-150 million tuned. However, no data has corroborated this statement.

More to follow.
