Brittany Mahomes felt excited in a moving tribute to her husband Patrick and her family on Tuesday night, days after Kansas City chiefs lost the Super Bowl against Filadelfia Eagles.
The game, which the Chiefs lost 40-22, fell into the context of an emotional time outside the field for the Mahomes family.
In January, Brittany, 29, gave birth to her and the third son of Patrick, her second daughter named Golden Raye.
But shortly after, the mother of the Campo de los Chiefs Marshal, Randy, revealed that her father and grandfather of Patrick required hospice care. She said before the Super Bowl that she was 'hanging' to see her grandson play in New Orleans.
Now, two days after the game, a baby sleep coach with whom the Mahomes family has worked to help their young children paid tribute to Instagram.
Jenna Artis wrote on Instagram: 'Patrick is not only an outstanding football player, changing the game with her talent and integrity both inside and outside the field, but she is also redefining how paternity looks, even with a complete dish.

'Britt and Patrick !!! Both have taught me a lot. I never knew how much the parents wanted to be included in the bath time, waking up from the naps, or that they cared to know every small detail (fit, naps, how they ate/cocoa, etc.) about their children simply because they wanted, even having the full days like you.
'For many, you are the #1 soccer player, but for three children, you are the father #1, and one of the most incredible parents that I have had the privilege of working and for.
And Britt, you are the glue. The way you juggle everything with grace, little dream, disinterest and love is really inspiring. You are an incredible mother, (as really. He inspired how you do everything), a wonderful human, and a friend that anyone was lucky to have.
'I can't say enough about the type of people, parents and models to follow, both are. This is just a small reminder for the world that kindness matters, and that Patrick is much more than a soccer player '.
Brittany shared the publication in her Instagram history and added the legend: 'Cry'.
Artis wrote the publication about the appointments that Mohamses gave moments after the Super Bowl, where he assumed the responsibility of the surprisingly poor exhibition of his team.
“They played better than us from beginning to end,” said Mohamses. 'We didn't start how we wanted.
'Ball losses hurt. I take all the blame for that. These ball losses balance the moment of the game and capitalized them.
'They noted in one and obtained a touchdown immediately after another. That is 14 points I gave them.
'It's hard to return from that in the Super Bowl. I did not play with my standard and I have to be better next time.
Mohomes also addressed fans in X, writing after the game: 'appreciate all the love and support of the Chiefs kingdom.
'I have disappointed today. I will always continue working and try to learn and be better for it. I want to thank God for every opportunity he has given me. We will return.
