The former boxer of the world champion Ebanie Bridges supports the prohibition of gender boxers Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-Ting, since Olympic officials face criminal complaints from the controversy.
The Algerian Khelif and the Yu-Ting of Taiwan won gold medals at the Last Summer Olympic Games despite being disqualified by the 2023 World Championships for gender eligibility test failures.

“I think they should be prohibited,” Bridges told Daily Mail Australia.
“I think the IOC is trying to be too awake or whatever and (there) it must be clear lines, or let women take steroids (to compete against these athletes).”
President Donald Trump said last week that he would make movements to ensure that no transgender athlete participated in women's sports in the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles.
Bridges welcomes the movement.
“I am so happy that Trump has put his foot on this to maintain integrity and save the sport of women because the reality is that if they let him continue, women no longer win sports,” Bridges said.
The IBA has offered financially supporting the boxers of Paris 2024 who wish to carry out legal actions.

The COI stripped his state as the governing body of the world of sport in 2023 citing concerns about ethics and finance.
