The former Manchester City left Benjamin Mendy has completed a movement next to FC Zurich after being frozen in Lorient.
Mendy joined Lorient in July 2023, with the return to the left signing for the French outfit 23 months after his final appearance for City.

The Swiss team welcomed the arrival of the 2018 World Cup winner and confirmed that Mendy has signed an agreement until 2026.
“Of course, we are very happy and also a bit proud to have been able to sign a player of this type of caliber,” said Ancillo Canepa, president of FC Zurich.
“It will be an important support, especially for our young players.”
The Zurich FC is currently eighth in the Super League Switzerland, but they are only seven points from the Basel leaders at a congested closing table.
During his time in Lorient, Mendy had been attacked following the descent of the club last season.
