A championship shock between Oxford United and Portsmouth stopped for half an hour after a medical emergency in the crowd.
Gary Rowett's team welcomed Pompy to the Kassam stadium on Saturday looking to return to the track after not being able to win their last three league games.
However, shortly after the start of the game the game was suspended, while the medical staff attended to a supporter in the stands.
Both teams were ordered outside the field as a treatment continued, before Oxford provided an update through social networks, noting that the fan was now in a stable condition in the hospital.
He said: 'After a medical emergency that took place during today's game, Oxford United can confirm that a follower suffered a cardiac arrest during the first half.
“We are pleased to inform that they are now in stable condition and receive more treatment in the hospital.”
