Man United and Tottenham Disaster Ratings: two of the lower parts of the Premier League are found, but who has it worse with the injuries, the board and the players?

The host of Tottenham Manchester United in a pride of the Premier League in the middle of the lower part this weekend and, fortunately for one of them, both cannot lose.

It has been a season to forget for both parties, which currently feel 15 and 14 respectively at the table. United, 20 times English football champions, are on their way to their worst season, somehow worse than the 2023-24 disaster under Erik Ten Hag.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are the same. Its current total of 1.12 points per game is worse than the 1.16 they collected in the early 1997-98 Premier League season when they finished with 44 points, their worst total.

A victory for each side on Sunday, however, I could finally start its season. Not too much, spurs are out of the race for each trophy, apart from the Europa League, United also has the FA Cup, but it is a starting point.

But how bad both parties do? What is to blame? And is there any form in the short term at least that your problems can be solved?

Mail Sport analyzes the disaster classifications for each side, qualifies seven key areas of both 10 clubs and deepening where their problems are really.

Manager

Tottenham: In theory, these two parts have two managers that could be at the opposite extremes of their holdings.

Ange Posttecoglou is more than a year and a half in his stay in northern London, he has already been hanging from his work with a thread. The spurs are failing in each competition, apart from the Europa League, they have had some shameful defeats and each press conference seems to involve the Australian to break a journalist.

Even so, he maintains the faith of the powers they are. Other things have apparently happened outside their control, more about that later, and it seems that it will be given a fair crack once you have a squad completely available.

Even so, it has been well below the pair and feels as if the trigger could be thrown at any time. 4/10

United man: Ruben Amorim seemed to indicate a new beginning in Old Trafford, but it has been anything but now. United continues to fall for defeats, and Amorim has not been shy to express his views in the media.

A clash with Marcus Rashford has been the main plot of his stay until now, while a refusal to give up his favorite 3-4-3 is beginning to raise his eyebrows.

United would be right when staying with him, but the potential of another disaster and managerial change is already there. 6/10

Board

Tottenham: 'We want to go to Levy'. They are the songs that are heard regularly around the Tottenham Hotspur stadium these days.

Since Daniel Levy assumed the position of president in 2001, he has been up and down for the Spurs: his new bright land in northern London shows that there has been something good to go with the bad perceived.

But no trophy since 2008 and a 'Spursy' label is finally reduced to a man. That has not stopped it, and the Spurs will always be stable outside the field, but the success of football is what, for many, most important. 4/10

United man: The same song was used in Manchester in reference to the Glazer family until Sir Jim Ratcliffe bought a minority participation and took control of football affairs almost a year ago.

But the issues in the field remain a disaster, and the regular budget cuts in the club seem to be causing disturbances among fans. Dan Ashworth was brought as a sports director and quickly said goodbye, and there is a general feeling of 'What follows?

Ratcliffe has a long way to go to win the United fans. 5/10

Transfers

Tottenham: The Spurs and Levy went big in the summer, recruiting Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray, Wilson Odobert and Lucas Bergvall. While Solanke and Bergvall have settled well, Gray has played out of position throughout the season and Odobert has a long -term injury.

In January, it was a patch job, with Kevin Danso and Antonin Kinsky arriving to give support in injury. However, Mathys Tel is his signature of the season, and the Spurs will be happy if they can do it permanent.

Still, they need more. But in the last two transfer windows, it has been quite successful, although some spurs fans may disagree. 10/10

United man: Like the Spurs, United went big in the summer in Leny Yoro, Manuel Ugarte and Matthijs of Ligt, with Joshua Zirkzee and Noussair Mazraoui also arriving. So far there has been a mixed return of your investment.

In January, his hands were somewhat tied from a PSR perspective, with Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven the only arrivals. Antony and Rashford were borrowed, but there must be many more outs in the summer. 6/10

Injuries

Tottenham: There is no sugary. Tottenham has been decimated by injuries this season.

His current injury list includes Dominic Solanke, Richarlison, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner, Wilson Odobert, Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, Guglielmo Vicario and Radu Dragusin.

Other stars, Micky Van de Ven and James Maddison, to name only two, have also been next to the problems. Is this postercoglou? Difficult to know with certainty. But he has not helped his cause in terms of having players available for the selection.

Seeing written players makes it easier to understand why it is still being supported. It doesn't get much worse. 1/10

United man: United has had to deal with injuries this season, but not much more than any other side, and certainly not at the same level in Tottenham.

That was until this weekend.

Lisandro Martínez's ACL injury was a great blow, while Luke Shaw continues to fight for the physical condition and had also made an appearance of a league this season. Mason Mount is also currently in the lateral line.

But things collapsed on Saturday when it was revealed that Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte had suffered injuries, while Mail Sport broke exclusively that Amad diallo could miss the rest of the season. Issues. 4/10

Players

Tottenham: One of the arguments of the fans of 'Ange In' of the Spurs is that Postecoglou does not have the players available to play in the way he wants, as the song says.

A high pressure and aggression game is difficult when you have so many first choice players. Again, is that your problem? Maybe. Or maybe players are simply not good enough.

While the tastes of Archie Gray and Djed Spence have taken a step forward in defense, players like Rodrigo Bentancur, Pape Kill Sar e Yves Bissouma have fought later.

They are Heung-min, meanwhile, looks like a shadow of his former self. Spurs fans will wait for a busy summer window. 5/10

United man: All you have to do in United is to take a look at its reference line. Only three goals between them for Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee so far this season. Scott McTominay has more on its account from its summer departure to Napoli.

Kobbie Mainoo has been judged in advance, the extremes have struggled to become no 10 and the defense is changing every week.

Some have said that United needs an entire need to adapt to what Amorim wants to do. They can be right: after all, he described them with “the worst side in the history of the club.” 3/10

Tactic

Tottenham: There is not much focus on training with postecoglou, but your focus for parties.

Often criticized for not adapting, it was almost 100 mph or nothing, and it was a tactical approach that saw that his side said goodbye several times.

Recently, we have seen it adapt a little more, allowing the equipment to have the ball, although it has not bought much more success. It will be interesting to see if that adheres to the next games. 5/10

United man: It is 3-4-3 or nothing for Amorim. Don't you like it? Design a different coach, he says.

After Gary Neville expressed his concern that Amorim is struggling to sell his ideas to United players, Mail Sport reported that some have discussed each other if a plan change that is better suitable for their game style can be the best Way to follow.

If the players themselves question it, there is not much hope. Nor is there better flow or any clearer identity since Amorim took over, but the formation will not change soon, so you get used to it. 5/10

Season in general

Both United and Tottenham have a long way to go to return to their best moment. It is clear that there are problems in both clubs inside and outside the field, and will take time.

There are reasons to be cheerful: Amorim is starting a project, players are beginning to return to the physical form in the Spurs, and both sides will be strengthened in the summer transfer window.

But the lack of success this season, questionable tactics and poor players have contributed to this campaign being a disaster for Tottenham and United.

Total:

Tottenham 27/60

Man United: 29/60
