The Gold Coast Suns have apologized to Footy fans after the social media accounts of the AFL club were pirated earlier this week.
The Soccer Club issued a statement on Tuesday morning through X, explaining that officials had been blocked on the Facebook and Instagram pages of the Suns.
“The club is aware of the current problems with its goal and is working to rectify the situation,” said the club's statement.
'Note that any publication made at this time is not authorized and we apologize for any inconvenience, damage or offense caused.
“The club will keep the fans updated.”
Unusual publications began to appear on the pages Monday night and Tuesday morning that had fans scratching their heads.
The Suns have apologized to fans after the accounts of the club's social networks were hacking.

The club, which is preparing for its inauguration of the preseason, received some positive news on Tuesday with Matt Rowell verbally committing to remain in the shine strip until the 2026 season ends.
According to the reports, the Footy star has been attacked by several rival clubs, so the news will be a great relief for Suns supporters.
Last week, Rowell was pressed by journalists if he remained in the club and seemed less than excited.
“Yes, I think (I'll stay),” he said.
“That will happen when we arrive, but I am concentrated in the season that is coming and winning our first game.”
