The name of an “obsessed” man, who was removed from the crowd during the second round of Emma Raducanu in Dubai, was transmitted to Wimbledon, after British tennis reduced to crying on Tuesday night.
Raducanu had had a bad start in his clash of the second round with Karolina Muchva, going 2-0 in the first set, when he broke into tears on the court and quickly made the chair of the referee Miriam Bley.
With the crowd and those who looked at home bewildered about what had distressed Raducanu, seemed to hide behind the chair, very well advancing to offer their support.
The game resumed quickly after a man in the crowd was eliminated, and later it was revealed that the man had approached Raducanu the night before, 'exhibiting a fixed behavior', according to a WTA statement.
A few hours after the incident, Mail Sport now understands that the name of the man was shared with Wimbledon, who immediately placed it in an observation list of suspicious people.
The identity of the man has not become public, although we understand that he is not a British citizen, but he may be sure that he has also circulated to tennis organizations around the world.

A Wimbledon spokesman said: “We are aware that there are a number of obsessed people who follow players around the world and work to ensure that players are protected at all times when they are in all the fields of the Club of England.”
The WTA confirmed that a man had previously approached Raducanu in his first round match against Maria Sakkari, adding a statement that the governing body was working with the player to guarantee his safety. Man has been forbidden from WTA events.
Hours after fans and spectators were confused about what had happened to Raducanu on the court, the WTA issued a statement, which said:
'On Monday, Emma Raducanu was approached in a public area by a man who exhibited fixed behavior.
'This same individual was identified in the first rows during Emma's game on Tuesday and subsequently expelled. He will be expelled from all WTA events awaiting threat evaluation. '
Surprisingly, Raducanu was able to meet and return to action, but fell to a defeat of two sets of Muchva, 7-6 6-4 in a closely requirement contest.
On Wednesday, Raducanu flew home to England, and took Instagram to try to calm any fear about his well -being.

It is understood that Raducanu had been surprised after seeing man several times before.
It could be composed to complete Tuesday's game after being calm that security was taking action.
With the investigations that continued on Wednesday, Raducanu had to fly home to London.
The organizers of the Dubai Open had previously published their own statement after Raducanu's terrible experience.
“We fully support the statement made today by the WTA regarding an incident that involves Emma Raducanu on February 17,” said his statement.
'The tournament's security team worked in collaboration with the WTA security team to proactively and immediately identify the individual in a matter of the stadium during the Second Round match of Emma on Tuesday.
'We support the WTA decision to prohibit the individual in a matter of all WTA events and share the long commitment of the tour with the welfare, security and well -being of the tour.
A WTA statement confirmed that Raducanu had been contacted by the same individual the night before his party
“We thank Emma for her contribution to this year's tournament, and we hope to welcome him next year.”
Raducanu has been previously attacked by the unwanted and worrying care of obsessive fans, seeing a five -year prohibition delivered to a stalker who walked 23 miles to his family home in the late 2021.
Amrit Magar, 35, was convicted in early 2022 after being convicted of sending love notes, visiting Raducanu's house on three separate occasions and stealing a shoe he believed belonged to the 19 -year -old player.
Raducanu then admitted in a statement shared with the Court that the experience had left it “constantly looking over his shoulder” and feeling that his “freedom had been removed.”
The player had previously been looking for his losing streak after a safe defeat of Sakkari in the first round.
Raducanu had previously lost three parties in a row, having not spent the first round in the Abu Dhabi Open and the Qatar open after his departure from the Australian Open last month.
