- Daniel Dubois was scheduled to defend the title against Joseph Parker on Saturday
- However, the FIB heavyweight champion was poorly informed on Thursday
- A replacement fight for Parker has been scheduled just 48 hours in advance
FIB World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Dubois withdrew from his highly anticipated fight for the title with Joseph Parker after being hit by a disease.
He was examined by a doctor at Riad on Thursday after informing himself badly before he participated in the final press conference before the great event.
This arrived less than a day after 'absolutely' was rushed to go against the former New Zealand world champion.
The final prize of a fight against Oleksandr Usyk for the indisputable heavyweight title was at stake for the winner.
The promoter Frank Warren began an immediate search for a late replacement to face Parker in what would be a fightless fight.
It has now been confirmed that Parker will face the Congolese boxer Martin Bakole in a heavyweight clash, with the latter taking the fight with only 48 hours in advance.

Lawrence Okolie, David Adelev and Mourad Aliev are among the options that are being considered, according to Ring magazine.
The rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol had already been designated as the main event on a large card with Dubois V Parker as chest.
The fight in Saudi Arabia was a confrontation between two of the most forming heavyweights of the world.
It was supposed to be the second defense of the title of Dubois, his first time when he surprised Anthony Joshua in Wembley in September.
The ex two times unified heavyweight champion launched four times before leaving it unconscious in the fifth round.
Dubois was a favorite to successfully defend his belt once again on Saturday.
The cancellation of the fight for the FIB heavyweight title occurs a few days after another fight for the title on the Bederbiev vs Bivol card.
It was revealed at the beginning of the week that the fight for the world title of Shakur Stevenson against Floyd Schofield has been suspended.
Schofield, 22, initially presented to Saudi Arabia and did his duties on the media on Monday, but then disappeared on Tuesday and did not see the big arrivals.
