Aaron's judge issued a firm response to journalists when asked if he would take advantage of the new New York Yankees policy about facial hair.
The World Series runner -up was news worldwide this week when they discarded a 49 -year rule to allow their players to grow beards, since it previously forced everyone to the team to shave before they could play.
The team captain faced the media on Saturday and was quickly asked what his own position on the change of rules is, and fans wonder if the star man will soon appear with a beard.
In his answer, Judge was very clear: he will still be shaved, and there is a great reason why.
“I was written this organization, so the first day I was here, I have been shaving since 2013,” Judge said. 'This is what I know, this is what I am used to. I look around the building, I look at old photos of the past legends and people who played here, they all followed that rule, so I tried to follow their way.
'I really didn't think it was so important until it was mentioned the last two weeks. I think the rule will be good. I think it will help many boys. If it takes us to a couple of more players who will help us win games, everyone will be on board for that. ''

Hal Steinbrenner (R) made the decision to alter the long -standing policy of the team on facial hair
Until now, Devin Williams and Carlos Rodon have said they will grow beards, while other more traditional players, such as Marcus Stroman and Anthony Volpe, have insisted that they will remain shaved.
“If that little rule will prevent him from coming here, then he should probably not be here,” Judge added.
'If a small rule like that will prevent you from doing your job, then I don't think so, I don't know. So I have not heard too much about boys, it prevents them from coming here. But (Steinbrenner) dug a little more than me in that.

Judge also revealed that in a meeting with the team owner, Hal Steinbrenner, made it clear that he wants the team to maintain its other rules instead, as without hair under the necklace.
“We definitely talk about that because that was one of my big things,” Judge said. 'Rules, it is discipline. Especially playing with the Yankees, this is a disciplined group.
'That is something that I learned from the minor leagues, you have those certain rules that teach you discipline, they teach you in a certain way. That was my great concern is that I did not want many of these rules to begin to change.
'Many of these separate us and make the Yankees in New York the standard. We talk about many of those things. I just wanted to reiterate with him, “I understand the policy of facial hair, but we maintain many of these other things under control.”
