Erling Haaland has been out of the team of the Manchester City day with Liverpool on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola left the top scorer of his team after suffering a knee problem and had to be replaced during his 4-0 victory over Newcastle last weekend.
Speaking earlier this week, Guardiola confirmed that Haaland was disputed to return in the Etihad waiting for more evidence.
He said: 'I still don't know. Tomorrow will know. Maybe, but I don't know. We train today, tomorrow will try it.
However, the 24 -year -old was not even named among the substitutes when the teams were announced, marking the first Premier League game this season he has not presented.
Haaland was at the bank when the city was abandoned without ceremonies in Europe by Real Madrid in the middle of the week, but was not called in the 3-1 defeat.
