LeBron James follows Tom Brady and Will Smith in the last sport to attract millionaire investors

When it is not on the basketball court, LeBron James can be close to the water, since the Los Angeles Lakers star has launched its own electric boat racing equipment of the E1 series.

The Offshore Power Boat Racing series is designed to try how fast the boats can go in a sport similar to drag rates.

Millionaire investors, Tom Brady and Will Smith, have already thrown their money into the sport, with James throwing the team last month, for TMZ.

James's team has two pilots who have extensive career experience: Rusty Wyatt and Catie Munnings.

Wyatt participated in the European Lig of boat racing that was launched last year and has competed in the water since the age of 12.

“Anything that LeBron does, people will continue,” Wyatt told The Outlet. “It is an icon for many different people.”

The ships can climb at 70 miles per hour in the water, with the 20 -foot long boats that do not need much to reach a complete power.

Wyatt told TMZ that he has not yet met James, with the star of the Lakers a little busy in the middle of the basketball season.

Since Luka Doncic acquired, Los Angeles has uploaded the classification of the West Conference and are now considered a contender of the title.

Brady's participation in sport joins the property of Las Vegas Raiders, as well as the English soccer team Birmingham City.
