Ex-NFL player and current trainer from Denver Broncos Linebackers Michael Wilhoite Was arrested at the weekend … after he allegedly attacked a police officer.
According to the prison, the 38-year-old Wilhoite was booked on February 22 due to the second degree attack on a peace representative in the downtown detection center.
Wilhoite is scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m.
The Broncos addressed the arrest in a declaration 9News … said: “We are aware of a situation in which Michael Wilhoite took place on Sunday and collects more information.”
The outlet also reported that the incident had taken place after Wilhoite had left someone at the airport.
Wilhoite, who was not brought out by Washburn University in 2011 – played six seasons as a linebacker in the NFL … Most of his career with the San Francisco 49ers. In 79 games he collected 231 duels.
In front of the NFL he spent a season with the UFL OMAHA Nighthawks.
After his game days, Wilhoite served in the employees of the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers before joining the Broncos as an outdoor coach in 2023
