Farke did not confirm how long Ampadu is outside, but hinted that a return after next month's international break seems more likely.
“The injury is not seen well,” said the German. “It could be that we miss it for some games, but it will need more evaluation and we will see what happens in the next few days.”
It means that the 24 -year -old could miss games against West Brom, Portsmouth, Milwall and QPR before the two -week pause.
