Manchester United has appointed Christopher Vivell as a full -time club recruitment.
Mail Sport revealed earlier this month that Vivell had entered conversations about assuming the role permanently.
Vivell had initially joined the club in July on an interim role.
Now he agreed to remain permanently in a contract of several years.
Vivell previously had a brief spell as technical director of Chelsea between December 2022 and July 2023.
He had been appointed for the role of Todd Boehly and Behdad Egybali after his acquisition of the club, happening to the former advisor and legendary goalkeeper of Chelsea, Petr Cech.

His departure occurred after a restructuring at the board level after the January transfer window in 2023 that turned out that Vivell informed sports directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley.
Vivell's role in Man United occurs when the Red Devils formalize his leadership structure after Dan Ashworth's departure as sports director in December.
Mail Sport revealed last month that Jason Wilcox, technical director of Man United, would assume an extended mandate.
Wilcox is working closely with the club's executive director, Omar Berrada.
Together with Wilcox and Berrada, the sports director of INEOS, Sir Dave Brailsford, represents the property to form a three -men football leadership team.
After agreeing to stay, Vivell is ready to lead the club's recruitment operation, as well as supervise its exploration structure.
