Another celebrity -power couple in South California welcomed new offspring to the herd this week … but you have to see your webcam to get a closer look!
Jackie and Shadow, a few white -headed eagles, who lived up in a tree in Big Bear Valley – about two hours east of La – welcomed two new Eaglets late Monday evening and Tuesday morning, and a camera finally broke up after weeks of anticipation of two of three eggs.
Jackie and Shadow had already lost Eaglets – in 2019 and 2022 – but in 2023 they lost a few eggs against a brutal encounter with Ravens and lost three more in March 2024 when the snow -covered weather Jackie and the eggs buried.
As you can see this time, Jackie carefully shifts her weight to a new young animal and keeps it warm, while the newborn stretches and adapts to his new life in front of the camera.
This 145-foot high nest in the San Bernardino National Forest has occupied a real history of Jackie's parents Lucy and Ricky.
It was soon seduced by a single male applicant, an eagle named Mr. B – and they had an Eaglet called Stormy – but their romance was canceled when a new mysterious Baldy named Shadow Mr. B in 2018 … and these two have been together since then.

Monday was also the third birthday of her first Eagle, Spirit. But these two newcomers have no names yet. And the third is still waiting for PIP – cracking the egg from the inside, which points out that it is on the way to the outside.
The nature conservation group Friends of Big Bear Valley Set up the camera in the forest to record special moments for scientific studies and to offer the public an entertaining interaction with nature … Without having to go into the snow – especially since Adler give up their nests when they are disturbed by humans.
Congratulations to the new parents!
