Fans have left divided into social networks after NRL's decision to relocate the Dolphins clash against the Rabbitoh at the Suncorp stadium due to the threat of Cyclone Alfred.

On Wednesday, Sydney Morning Herald revealed that three Dolphins stars, Kodi Nikorima, Mark Nicholls and Kenny Bromwich, had indicated that they would not travel with the team on Wednesday night for the relocated match.
With the Alfred Cyclone ready to make lands in Queensland on Thursday night, bringing with them 120 km/h winds, up to 800 mm of rain and potential sudden floods, the NRL chose to move the match to the Commbank stadium in Sydney.
Some players were reluctant to leave their families behind the meeting of the opening round, with Nikorima Bree companion, who is six months pregnant, hitting the NRL for the “shameful” decision of not postponing the game completely.
