Arsenal made the history of the Champions League after beating PSV 7-1 in its clash on Tuesday night.
Danny Murphy looks at what went well for the gunners and the implications for her European campaign.
Arteta's attitude
He felt as if Mikel Arteta told his players to arrive after PSV. It was high rhythm and high risk from the beginning. There was real urgency in the Arsenal press, as if they needed to get goals quickly.
The approach worked because each player was marked. Martin Odegaard activated the press, as usual, and all followed, especially the three strikers of Leandro Trosssard, Mikel Merino and Ethan Nwaneri.
Having last weekend due to the FA Cup did well. It is exhausting to play every few days having to win.
Any minor injury disappeared. Everyone seemed hungry with a point to demonstrate. Declan Rice was excellent, enjoying up to the field.

The high tempo and high risk strategy of Mikel Arteta paid dividends on his trip to Holland
Intrepid nwaneri
I was in Liverpool when Michael Owen, 17, broke out with this incredible self -confidence that no defender could handle him.
I am obtaining the same atmosphere with Nwaneri, which does not seem scared anyone. The bigger the occasion is, the better it is.
The teenager moves effortlessly with the ball, has a great touch and changes direction to find space in the most tight areas.
Many young players have the ability, but also having the mentality to play with freedom marks it as special. Arsenal is also helped by its central backups.
Gabriel and William Saliba are so good in individual duels that teammates can increase, knowing that their defenders can deal with any ball losses.

Fodder Perfect
If the gunners could name ideals after not breaking West Ham and Nottingham Forest, it would have been PSV, who has not won a league game since January. The Dutch side tried to launch numbers forward, but that left spaces to explode.
The Gunners must have loved him after facing the teams that put everyone behind the ball.
The arsenal was ruthless and did not rest on their laurels even after scoring four and five.
The last eight losers
It is easy to assume that Arsenal is better equipped for Europe than the Premier League, but it is not so simple. Whatever the Madrid team in front of the rooms, real or Atlético, will present a much larger challenge than the PSV.
Somehow, Atlético is more dangerous due to its style; strategic and pragmatic. Real normally does not feel: they have the best players in the world in the world in Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior.
While that would adapt to Arsenal, the great quality of galactics means that Arteta cannot repeat the PSV game plan and wait for the same result.
A full force arsenal would be difficult against any team. It will be even more difficult without a striker, since Kai Hvertz and Gabriel Jesus are injured.
Merino will improve as a false nine, but although it is adequate as a physical presence, that will not cut it in the last stages of the competition.

It could be another season of almost lack for arsenal, but they are in a good place
Plan
It could be another season of almost missing for Arsenal, but they are in a good place. Too many injuries and suspensions will cost them. They could not have anticipated losing Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Hvertz and Jesus at the same time.
However, they are close to success, and deviate from the Arteta project would be a mistake. The striker's problem will be addressed in the summer because the team is stronger than ever. The future is brilliant but, despite its goal bonanza on Tuesday night, I don't see a trophy in May.
