More accusations of sexual assault have shaken the Canadian hockey.
The Peel Regional Police has confirmed that the department is investigating an accusation of sexual assault of 2014 that involves eight former players of the Ontario Hockey League.
TSN/CTV first reported the accusations in October. Peel Police said on Wednesday that his special victims unit is carrying out an ongoing investigation into the matter.
In 2014, according to the original report, the 22 -year -old plaintiff had a relationship with a 19 -year -old Mississa Steelheads Headheads player. The report said that in November of that year, he went to watch television, and when he arrived there, eight team members were present.
According to the TSN/CTV report, after she and the player with whom she was dating began to intimidate in a basement bath, the other players entered the small room and turned to attack her for 90 minutes.
None of the players have been appointed, and none of the accusations has been tested in court.

The Ontario Hockey League said in October that he was taking the accusations “very seriously” and would cooperate with any police investigation.
The Steelheads moved from Mississauga to Brampton in June.
This case occurs when five members of the World Junior Hockey team in Canada 2018 expect the trial next month about accusations of sexual assault. Dillon Dube, Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, Cal Foot and Alex Formenton were accused of sexual assault earlier this year in an incident that allegedly took place in London, Ontario, in June 2018.

Dube, McLeod and Formenton attended a court in London, Ontario, in person in November for the first time.
The players of the players have said that their clients plan to defend against the accusations, and it is expected that the five declare themselves innocent.
A jury trial is scheduled to begin on April 22, which will be heard by Judge Maria Carroccia.
Several weeks have been reserved for legal arguments before, but the problems discussed in these hearings cannot be informed at this time due to a publication prohibition aimed at protecting the right to a fair trial for the accused.
The charges stop for an incident that supposedly took place when the players and many of their teammates were in London for a hockey gala in Canada that celebrated their victory in the gold medal in the world tournament of that year.

Police launched a criminal investigation that closed without charges in 2019 and then reopened in 2022.
The researchers said in February 2024 that they could present positions after collecting new evidence, but refused to provide additional details, citing the judicial case.
The case has fed a greater scrutiny of sports organizations and how they handle accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior.
Hockey Canada has made wholesale changes after a scathing independent report and lost important sponsors in the almost two years elapsed since this and other scandals. The CEO Scott Smith was expelled and the Board of Directors also resigned in October 2022, related to the way in which Hockey Canada managed accusations of sexual assault and how he paid the agreements.
In 2023, Nike permanently finished its association with the organization after stopping it previously, along with other sponsors, given the strong criticism of the Canadian hockey leadership.
