The Chief of Fenerbahce, José Mourinho, has spoken publicly for the first time since he was accused of making racist comments for the Galatasaray rivals.
After the 0-0 draw last week at the Istanbul derby, Mourinho attacked at the Bank of Galatasaray for 'jump like monkeys' when he appeals to arbitration decisions at the beginning of the game.
He also said it was better that the party was not officiated by a Turkish referee.
After Galatasaray accused him of racism, Mourinho was beaten with a prohibition of four games contact line and a fine of £ 35,000, which was subsequently reduced to two games and a fine of £ 12,200 after the appeal.
But Mourinho has insisted that his comments were not racist, and believes that Galatasaray complaints have really been counterproductive against them after he received the support of some of his former players, including Didier Drogba and Michael Essien.
Speaking about the accusations of Galatasaray, Mourinho said Sky Sports: 'They were not intelligent in the way they attacked me, because they did not know my past.

José Mourinho has broken his silence after being accused of racism by Galatasaray

José Mourinho said that the Bank of Galatasaray 'jumped like monkeys' during the Istanbul derby last week

Mourinho defended his use of language and accused Galatasaray of bending down “so low”
'They did not know my connections with Africa, with Africans and African players and African beneficial organizations. Then, instead of going against me, I think Boomerangó and went against them.
'Everyone knows who I am as a person. Everyone knows my bad qualities, but that is not one of my bad qualities. Exactly the opposite! The most important thing is that I know who I am, and the attack that accuses racism was a bad choice.
Mourinho also revealed his immediate reaction to the accusation of racism while criticizing Galatasaray for bending down “so low”, while denoting that he had been clumsy with his use of language.
'I felt: how could they be so low?' He continued.
Mourinho added: “I can't drop at his level,” referring to the band -line pranks of the Galatasaray manager, Okan Buruk.
“Sometimes I do it, and I wonder:” Why did you do it José? Why did you fall at that level? “It was just sad.
The former chelsea chief, Manchester United and Tottenham expressed their gratitude to those who defended him, and said he even had the support of people who do not like.
“Probably even people I didn't like, support was there,” said Mourinho.
'I thank people who had no trouble speaking (especially), especially my children, my former players. They were a very important voice.
The row of racism between Mourinho and Galatasaray is still ongoing, and Fenerbahce announced last Friday that they have filed a lawsuit against their rivals of the title after launching their support behind its manager.
