The New York Knicks center, Karl-Anthony Towns, has revealed that Tuesday's game against the Golden State Warriors visitors was lost due to the death of a close family friend named Sarah Holtzman.
Towns made the revelation for journalists when he joined the team on Thursday in Los Angeles before a confrontation with the Lakers.
