Manchester United has confirmed that they will return to the United States on the tour this summer to face West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton in a summer series of the Premier League.
United will be based in Chicago, where they will face Bournemouth on July 30 after starting the rounding tournament against West Ham in New Jersey on July 26, before finishing against Everton in Atlanta on August 3.
It will be the third consecutive time that United has traveled to the United States after being based on San Diego and Los Angeles during the last two summers.
Mail Sport revealed exclusively in January that United would lead the series and was considering Chicago as a potential base. The official announcement was delivered live in NBC, the host station of the competition, during the part of its live coverage of the Premier League match on Sunday against Arsenal in Old Trafford.
The technical director of United, Jason Wilcox, said: 'The weeks before a new season of the Premier League are always an exciting moment for the Manchester United players and fans equally, and we enjoy spending that period in the United States, taking advantage of world -class training facilities and stadiums, and participating with fans.
'Playing other Premier League teams gives players the opportunity to win a valuable game time against the best opposition, and for our passionate fans to see some of the most famous teams in world football who play live in three of the most iconic stadiums in North America.'

It will mark the third consecutive year that will travel to the United States, and this time they will be based on Chicago.

They will face Bournemouth, West Ham and Everton in the summer return series.

Playing three Premier League teams, in three iconic stadiums, will be a great announcement for the quality of the League.
“United enjoys a large number of followers in the US. And I know that fans will be incredibly excited about the possibility of seeing and interacting with the team when they return this summer.”
