Gary Player has warned Tiger Woods that he could have difficulty walking through Augusta National, lets compete to win the masters.
Woods is five times champion in Augusta, winning more recently in 2019 when he obtained a remarkable victory, and an important 15th crown, at the age of 43.
That earned a five -year exemption to the players championship, considered the flagship event of the PGA Tour and the 'fifth major' of the golf.
But the 49 -year -old, who has been plagued by injury problems in recent years, will miss the event this week in Sawgras.
Last September, Woods had a sixth return operation in 10 years. He abandoned his planned return in Invitational Genesis last month and has not played an official round since July.
Now the player warned Woods that teachers' physical challenge could be too punishing for his crispy body.

'I am an admirer of Tiger Woods. What he did for golf worldwide is remarkable. The same as Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus and a large number of players, 'said the nine -time older champion, through Sportsboom.
'But your legs are what takes you. Your legs are what hit the ball, not your hands. And his legs are not in good shape.
'The teachers, what people do not understand, look at that tournament. It is uphill and downstairs and is lateral. And that is hard, hard for the legs. I don't know if you can walk there. We hope I play. Everyone wants to see him play.
The Masters is the first of the four main championships of the year. Woods finished 60 last year and 47 in 2022. Those are the only two occasions when four rounds of a specialization have ended since 2020.
