Dave Portnoy Claims that he was recently offered a role in Washington DC – but if he had accepted if he had handed over the reins to his barstool sports empire.
El Pres dropped the news in his “Davey Day Trader Global” show on Tuesday … and revealed that the position in the Ministry of Commerce would have been under secretary Howard Lutnick.
Portnoy said he measured a call a few months ago that measured his interest in the chance … but Crystal was made clear that he had to give up his role with barstool to take the step.
Pres did not reveal whether he flirted with the idea … but said, even if he was, they never followed – what he called “strange”.
The topic came with his confusion Elon MuschusParticipation in the efficiency of the Ministry of Government … while the Tech billionaire Tesla is still operating.
Regardless of this, it would have been difficult for Portnoy to take a step back with barstool – after all, he transformed it in a massively popular company from a silly newspaper.
Portnoy is a great supporter of President Donald TrumpBut … so the offer must have been at least appealing.
