- Constitution Hill fell while trying to chase the first two horses
- Golden Ace took advantage of Storm Clear and won the Champion Hurdle
Golden Ace has won the Hurdle Champion in Cheltenham after the favorite Constitution of the Hill race fell dramatically.
Constitution Hill was in the persecution package with four obstacles to travel, but stained his jump, while the man of the state also fell shortly after.
After winning the obstacle of Ryanair Mares's novices at last year's festival, Golden Ace now has another win on the biggest stage.
Burdett Road took second place, with the winter fog ending third.
The Jockey Lorcan Williams praised his victory as a moment of “dream” in his career.
“I'm lost by words,” he told Itv Racing. 'You dream of these moments, looking at them.

“What I was thinking was, my agent told me to see Constitution Hill: when I was out of the race, I thought that bloody hell I will stay second.”
When asked if it was the best day of his life, Williams replied: 'Far'.
Golden Ace coach Jeremy Scott added: 'I think you have to hit me because this is not a dream. How strange five minutes. While everyone is fine, only magic.
