The identity of Footy Eddie McGuare has drawn attention after strangely claiming 'women in AFL' previously forced the League to broadcast a long suspension of the GWS Toby Greene star.
It follows an infamous incident in 2021 when the hard man of the giants was declared guilty of intentional contact with referee Matt Stevic during a final elimination victory over the Sydney Swans.
Greene's original three weeks prohibition increased to a six -week suspension by the AFL Appeals Board after the then CEO Gill Mclachlan expressed her disappointment for the original ruling.

“WTF, Eddie really blamed women for the suspension of Toby Greene by intentional contact with an referee,” he published in X in response. “You can't have a player playing the referees deliberately.”
