The identity of Footy Eddie McGuare has drawn attention after strangely claiming 'women in AFL' previously forced the League to broadcast a long suspension of the GWS Toby Greene star.

It follows an infamous incident in 2021 when the hard man of the giants was declared guilty of intentional contact with referee Matt Stevic during a final elimination victory over the Sydney Swans.

Greene's original three weeks prohibition increased to a six -week suspension by the AFL Appeals Board after the then CEO Gill Mclachlan expressed her disappointment for the original ruling.

Speaking on channel nine Classified football On Tuesday, McGuare declared that 'Women in AFL House' pushed so that Greene's suspension would double at that time.

“Many people strive for Toby Greene … play hard,” said former Collingwood president.

'They rubbed once because women in football in AFL House did not like what happened to the referee … so he obtained an extension (in the ban).

'I tell you that is what happened.'

He did not give much time for Footy fans on social networks to shoot McGuare for his strange shot.

“WTF, Eddie really blamed women for the suspension of Toby Greene by intentional contact with an referee,” he published in X in response. “You can't have a player playing the referees deliberately.”

A second said: 'Eddie should be expelled from segments with Collingwood. The bias is ridiculous.

He followed McGuare questioning aloud how Greene escaped from the Suspension of the AFL after the star of the knees, the star of the Mcinnes reef in the impressive victory of the seasonal opening of the giants last Sunday.

Together with the AFL Legend James Hird, McGuare commented on Vision that shows Collingwood Darcy Moore captain hitting a loose ball to a safe place with Greene approaching quickly.

Hird argued that if the roles were invested, Greene would probably have collided with Moore at full speed, showing her registered trademark intention.

In his career dating from his debut in GWs in 2012, Greene received 26 positions and attended 15 suspensions.
