Carragher saw the game from the Kop before speaking in CBS's coverage after the game

The former Liverpool defender was in the game as a fan and saw his team crashed in Anfield
Gianluigi Donnarumma shone for the PSG, saving the penalties of Darwin Núñez and Curtis Jones before Desire Doue placed the winning kick home.
Talking about the result after the game, Carragher said CBS: 'I am a little deflated on the result, but listening, the best team won – PSG.
'We saw how they worked in the first leg to put it 1-0. I called it a robbery. In this game, I thought that the first 20 minutes in half an hour, I felt that Liverpool was going to continue and win the game comfortably. They simply could not get that goal from the beginning. They had two or three chances of not having kept, then the PSG obtained that goal.
'For the rest of the game, Nip and Tuck felt. In extra time, he felt that PSG really took over. Where I was in the Kop, we were all desperate and clinging to the penalties really. But even that was not a fact: it is a lottery and anything can happen.
Despite the disappointment, Carragher praised the atmosphere in Anfield, describing how the crowd did everything possible to push the team on the line.
“Listen, the atmosphere was brilliant tonight,” he said. 'I was in the kop with my teammates, but we simply had the goal of going crazy. I think we had a couple, I think there was one rejected, and one hitting the interior of the post, so we were going crazy then.
'I thought about the second half, we were attacking the kop and thought it would be a bit omen that we obtained the winning goal, but we were left without steam. We were just really enduring.
Carragher also took the time to prove the key artists of the PSG, particularly their efforts in the midfield and defensive to contain the attack of Liverpool.
'I thought the left side (Nuno Mendes) against Salah was outstanding again. It has been brilliant in both games. I think the two players from the center of the field, Vitinha and Neves, were brilliant.
“I thought during the first type of hour, maybe a little more, maybe 70 minutes, it was a brilliant game from both sides.”
Liverpool will now focus its attention on national competitions, with the dream of the Champions League for this season. The PSG, meanwhile, advances to the quarterfinals, hoping to finally ensure European glory.
