Billy Brownless and his ex -wife Nicky have been photographed gathering before his daughter Ruby's wedding in another sign that his relationship is repairing, but a careful look at the photos shows that the scars of the most scandalous betrayal of Footy may not have completely cured.
Geelong Great Brownless and Nicky seemed happy in the company of the other, since they enjoyed a party prior to the noosa nuptials on the coast of Queensland while waiting anxiously to witness that Ruby married Josh Wallis.
However, Nicky's fiance, Garry Lyon, who infamously betrayed Billy when he began a romance with her in 2016 while the disabled did not see each other on each other, he did not see any side.
The fall of the bomb among the former best companions surprised the world of football after Lyon separated from his wife Melissa, escaped with Nicky and then moved to her and the four children of Billy, Lucy, Ruby, Oscar and Max.
Brownless's 18 -year marriage did not survive the surprising turn of the events and the legend of the Cats has given several raw accounts of the evil that Lyon's actions hurt him, at one stage he confessed that he had “a little hate” for the icon of Melbourne's demons.
A month after the devastating news occurred, he said bluntly “a good partner would not do that” before sensationally confessing that he believed that Garry's secret relationship and Nicky could have been happening for years.

However, Brownless's best companion, Garry Lyon (in the photo, the second on the right, with Billy, Nicky and Lyon's ex -wife, Melissa) was remarkably absent
“I couldn't believe it … I asked Garry and Nicky before, what is happening, and they said they were just good friends,” he revealed during an emotional appearance in The Footy Show.
'That is what hurts the most.
'By law, it is legal. Morally, it's wrong. We all know our rights and errors. You don't touch a man's wallet and don't touch his wife.

The former Footy Show presenter and Billy's former got involved in December 2023, with Nicky sharing the photo above and subtitling it 'The Best Surprise'
The former teammates seemed to bury the ax in 2020 when Billy joined Nicky, his children and Lyon to celebrate Christmas.
That followed Brownless admitting that the couple was in a “good place” at the beginning of the year.
The shared photographs on Christmas Day showed that the mixed family spent the day together.
Brownless posed with Nicky and his children, and Lyon also appeared in some of the snapshots.
The Paparazzi Tomas of the most recent show of the family shows Brownless and Nicky wearing relaxed and happy in the company of the other while they gathered to see Ruby and Wallis go through what seemed like a previous view of the ceremony in front of their loved ones.
The couple who soon looked looked mocked as they took their hands, kissed and hugged in a jetty in a picturesque place just north of Brisbane.
Billy Brownless's partner, Crystle Fleur, was also present, dressed in a flattering pink attire. The two began to leave last August.
When the pain of his separation from Nicky was still raw, Brownless admitted that he had a “hatred” for Lyon (in the photo together in 2008)
Lyon (down to the left) spent Christmas day with Billy, Nicky and their children in 2022 in a sign of fences were being repaired, but their absence of the party prior to the wedding could show that some of the scars are still deep
It is believed that Lyon's commitments with the Sen Radio Station and Fox Sports's AFL 360 program may have coincided with the party and could still attend Ruby and Josh's wedding ceremony.
But it remains to be seen if Billy will be present when his former Footy Show coanfrerion and ex -wife finally marry.
Lyon and Nicky committed themselves in December 2023 shortly before a trip to New York.
'We had planned to go and we did it (we have a lot to celebrate). We are very happy, '' said Nicky, who published a photo of the couple who hugged with love on Instagram along with the subtitle: 'The best surprise'.
