Ed Sheeran has reached new heights as the most famous Ipswich Town supporter after being turned into his own panini sticker.

The multiple winning singer, whose successes include Saper of You, Perfect and The A Team, has been immortalized in a limited sticker 'Ed-Iitation' following characters such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Cole Palmer and Mo Salah, who have become the form of stickers for their clubs.

In a video for fans, Sheeran said: 'Hello guys! I have some Panini stickers: official limited edition edition. These will be available in the Nottingham Forest game this Saturday. I hope you like them! A lot of love.

Sheeran, who also sponsors the Tractor Boy shirt, is a regular in Portman Road after his return to the Premier League after the promotion of the last season of the championship play-off.

In August 2024, Sheeran announced that he had also bought a minority participation in the city of Ipswich, and said at that time: “I have lived in Suffolk since I was three years old and, while I travel around the world and sometimes I feel like a stranger in the big cities, Suffolk and Ipswich have always made me feel part of the community and protected.”

'It is a joy to be a fan of Ipswich Town.

“I am not a voting shareholder or a member of the Board, this is only me putting some money in the club that I love and that they return the gesture, so I do not approach with firm suggestions or tactics to play.

After the announcement of the sticker, the president of Ipswich Town, Mark Ashton, said: 'Bring Ipswich Town, Ed Sheeran and Panini together for something custom to us for us is excellent for our followers. I know that Ed loves the design and is a panini fan, so I hope that attendees at Portman Road on Saturday have in their hands.

Fans can have the sticker in the next Ipswich game on Saturday when they face Nottingham Forest at home.

Far from following Ipswich Town's fight to stay in the Premier League, Sheeran has continued on tour, with his recent concert in Bután making history as the first international artist to act in the country.
