The AFL has rejected the requests of the Cricket's hierarchy and the South Australian government to allow Adelaide Oval to receive the final of Sheffield Shield.
SA, on the other hand, will organize the final of the shield in Karen Rolton Oval after the AFL refused to allow the decisive to look between the AFL games in Adelaide Oval.
The SA Cricket Association and Prime Minister Peter Malinauskas wanted the final of the Oval Adelaide shield from March 24 to 28.
But with the AFL matches scheduled on March 22 and 30, the AFL cited health and safety concerns by rejecting Cricket.
“We are disappointed in southern Australia, it has been prevented from organizing the final of Sheffield Shield in Adelaide Oval,” Cricket Executive Director Australia, Todd Greenberg, in a statement on Friday, said on Friday.

The AFL and Adelaide crows expressed concerns that Adelaide Oval could eliminate their Cricket releases and then properly upload the area on time for the March 30 game of the Cuervos.
