- Zak Brown has given permission to the pilots to run hard – 'Just not touches'
- Oscar Piastri and his teammate Lando Norris have blocked the first row
The McLaren Chief, Zak Brown, has given permission to his superstar drivers to compete mutually on Sunday afternoon at the Australian Grand Prix, but there is only a simple condition.
The hero of the hometown, Oscar Piastri, will begin the race from the second after being promoted by a historical pole by the teammate of McLaren, Lando Norris, in the qualification.
The papaya couple was wrapped in several tense fights during the 2024 season, and Norris says they are both free to run hard again in Melbourne.
“We are free to do whatever, you just don't touch,” said the British during the driver's parade.
“We are both competitors and we both want to win, so we'll see.”
Norris looked in a good mood despite Melbourne's chaotic climate that has already seen two races in Albert Park abandoned.

McLaren's chief, Zak Brown, said his positions can run hard in Melbourne: “Just not touch”
Rain is expected throughout the day, which could cause volatile conditions in the first game of the season.
“I'm sorry for fans who feel here for so long,” Norris said.
“But I hope it is not so bad later and the rain goes out, and we can get a good race.”
Piastri aims to become the first Australian pilot to stand on the podium in Melbourne, much less win the race.
Alan Jones was the most recent local winner of the Australian GP, in 1980 in Calder Park Raceway, before the race joined the calendar of the F1 World Championship in 1985.
But after winning two races last season, McLaren comes from an unexpected championship of builders and civilizing rivals with his rhythm, the 23 -year -old feels good.
“This is the most relaxed I've been in my local career,” Piastri said.
'The first two years, especially the first year I came here, was a quite overwhelming experience.

McLaren are the clear favorites that go to the 2025 season of Formula 1
'Even last year, it was still a fairly great experience.
'This year I have been able to enjoy it a little more; Maybe because I have had a little more confidence in the car under me.
'But I've really been enjoying it and I have been enjoying support.
'I feel that the support has risen a little since last year too.
'It is surprising what happens when you start winning things.
“But no, it's great to have all support and very appreciated.”
