Chelsea fans have criticized Manager Enzo Maresca for his comments after the 1-0 defeat of the blues in Arsenal on Sunday.
The heading of the first half of Mikel Merino showed the difference between the two teams, since Arsenal strengthened his control over second place while hitting the hopes of the Chelsea Champions League.
But despite losing to his rivals in London, the chief of Chelsea, Maresca, remained optimistic in his interview after the party.
In statements to Sky Sports, the Italian insisted that his team “controlled the game” and “competed very well” against the men of Mikel Arteta.
But Chelsea's supporters had nothing like that and resorted to social networks to criticize Maresca for their “deceived” evaluation of their team's performance.
A fan wrote in X: '”We control the game.” Honestly, how cheat it is. Controlling field bits with side passes does not mean you control the game. We did not seem threatening at all. Arsenal forced the United States and closed the central areas comfortably.

Chelsea has now spent more than three months without a victory far in the Premier League
Another follower echoed that feeling, adding: 'This guy is delusional. The difference was that Arsenal tried to win the game. And we didn't intend to do that.
Maresca was also accused of insulting the intelligence of fans when an X user published: 'It is not the fact that he is seeing a different game, it is the fact that he thinks that we are all idiots and that we cannot see how serious we are. Insulting.'
Chelsea's game style has become an important conversation signal in recent weeks, and some fans get tired of the team dominating possession but doing very little with it.
Sunday's game followed a pattern similar to that the clear possibilities were few and distant, and a follower said that the Maresca team is currently playing 'horrible football'.
“We certainly don't control the game,” they said. 'His guardian made a salvation.
'From our 508 completed passes, 313 came from back 4 or the guardian.
“It's a horrendous football.”
Another follower was perplexed by Maresca's comments, and admitted that seeing Chelsea games has become a 'tedious' task.

Another agreed that Chelsea has become 'difficult to see' under Maresca
'Does Maresca see a different game from the rest of us?' They asked.
'He says the same old man always after each game. We were bored and never seemed to write down if we had been there without bleeding!
“I love going to games, but this is doing to me. It's so tedious and difficult to see.”
Despite losing in the Emirates, Chelsea remains among the top four for now.
However, they have not won far from home in the League for more than three months, and have fallen to 21 points behind Liverpool leaders after it seems to be contenders for the title in the first months of the season.
